wow... not sure that I really like what they've done.

The hood doesn't really flow, and the new rear lights make the rear end look bigger.

Anyway, I was hoping for an improvement, and I think what I got was not improved or worse.

Idrive looks like it might be a little easier though.

I see they're now putting angel eyes on the 3 series sedans...  (To my knowledge it was only on the coupes)  hey if its popular enough to put on Civics why not bank on that, right?  It'll be played out soon enough like when the first Lexus IS had clear multi element tailights...

I'm glad they did it
I hate those DRLs in high-beam housings with yellowish light
Now day running lights are angel eyes (corona rings) on sedans as well, much better!

I have never been a fan of the BMW 3 series styling, except for the grille and wheels.  I realize many think the styling has a classic beauty, but I have always thought it was very plain and ordinary.  I think the rear of the 335i is a big improvement, and looks really nice.  I am not sure what I think of the new hood design, but I like the grille.

BMW front ends increasingly have that "Jolly Green Giant sat on me" look.

Wonder why their designers feel they have to squish down the front ends so much?  Surely the European pedestrian safety regs don't require that. Huh?

This color is terrible, hard to judge, but I'd say overall the front end looks terrible.  The rear looks much improved though.

But overall, too busy for me, the hood and the bumper actually looks worse than the Mercedes C Class.

What's happening to these Germans?  So many creases, it looks like the car came rice-out to the max from the factory, with so many openings and intakes I can't figure it out what are they for, like a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo XCVIII whatever, screaming "c'mon race me", only in this case it's a 318i with a 170hp engine...

I don't know man...

What do you prefer...

IMHO something has gone terribly wrong around 2002, but unfortunately, they are still selling those cars today like crazy, so nothing is gonna change anytime soon...

I liked them better when they changed in 02.  Made them look more like Nissan's.  I don't like
older ones as much, they look old.   Undecided
