The yellow one is the SS V-8 and the red one is a LT V-6 model.

Plain? Its ugly. And the materials are not good. I checked out a "production" model at the Philly car show. Terrible stuff. No better than what you find in a Cobalt or any other Chevy for that matter, except far, far uglier. They really screwed the pooch on that one.

That does not make it ugly just because you say so. Many people like this car. And as for
interior materials, GM cars have came a long way in quality. The materials in the new
Malibu and CTS are better than some Toyota cars.

And the Camaro's quality is crap. Its not up to par with the new Malibu or other GM vehicles that actually have been improved.
But they say, beauty is in the eye of the beerholder.
Too bad though. GM says they need to sell 100k of these a year to recoup the investment in the program. They really made this thing polarizing to the point where its only attractive to those with a vested interest in it in the first place. I don't think it'll win over most people on the fence or those who are contemplating a Challenger or Mustang.

Body is acceptable. Interior design is not (I can't comment on materials).

That also includes regular dealer orders, not just customer orders. And once they get over the initial surge, it could fall flat on its face. IIRC, the Solstice had 10k pre-orders too.
I've seen the car for the last 3 years from concept to production. It still hasn't grown on me and its already starting to look tired because GM has hyped it up so much.
