notice how LITTLE wheel gap there is in this pic compared to the first ones.  Adjustable ride height?

interior is not at all subdued...

My wife has a 2008 Overland... at first glance this looks more like a makeover than a complete redesign, but it definitely got softened up a lot.

from autoblog:

This was also the first glimpse we had of the GC's new air suspension doing its thing, as it easily clambered up the stage steps at full off-road height (11.1-inches), before sinking to its lowest setting, where it looked for all the world like an impromptu low and mean SRT8 version.

Not bad. I like the huge ride height adjustment, but in all honesty, I think very few GC's see conditions that would warrant that kind of ride height...?

The interior looks decent. The wood color/texture is a bit odd, though.. and as per usual, I hate the wood-trimmed steering wheel Smiley

we take ours on the beach... might this weekend if it warms up, granted we don't need a TON of ground clearance, but it doesn't hurt.  And the ability to lower it is nice because it will help with fuel efficiency

What's that thing on the console?  I-drive?

I think one of the buttons on the right side of the nav screen is missing...or is it a not so subtle aux input hole?

Overall I liked the interior, and the lift specially (but I think it only works up to 6mph), but didn't like the front end.  It still does not match the rear, it's like two different cars.  It should have a higher roof by now (like on the Jeep Liberty), it's still cramped inside.

its aux input... the nav screen looks identical (and probably is identical) to the current radio head unit which is found in pretty much every chrysler offering with nav/mygig  300C, minivans, ram trucks etc.  it may be the angle of the radio on the new vehicle that makes the input look weird.

edit p.s. its touchscreen.  the knob on the left is vol control
