Hey guys!
I'm looking to buy carseat cover or mat to protect leather of the rear seat
I would like to get some suggestions of what some of you or your friends are using
This will be in my bimmer and carseat is Maxi Cosi Mico (rear-facing)
Thanks in advance

These things are awesome. I have had them in every car since 1997....

[Edit by Ohmster] '1994' corrected to '1997'. I had no kids in 1994....

I have a mat that I use that I picked up from Babies R Us. Can't remember the brand, but it works well. Very good investment.

That's the new version, I believe. I like the trough for catching crumbs, the lower lip, and the adjustable back gives you more allowance for car seat heights (high back, back facing, etc.) Can't do wrong with either....

I use thick arse towels and take the baby seats out every once in a while to prevent indentions...a PITA, but part of the hobby....hehehehe

Funny. I actually did both. Seat colored towels and then the Princelionheart mats between them and the child seat.

Your mat stains your seats?

No not at all. The towels simply reduce the indentations (non permanent) on the seats. I am just too anal for my own good.

I use a thick small blanket underneath my Daughter's car seat. Its black to blend in with my black leather. I wouldn't suggest black if you have tan leather...just get a similiar color to match. It helps with the creasing. It also helps to protect the seat from any spills

The mat is a good investment from the car seat denting your seat. I tried the towel deal with no such luck on a previous car.
The picture of the brown mat is exactly what I use in both my cars.

I have been using this one for years, bought some at Amazon last year, the others at Baby 'r us. They catch a lot of crumbles, and they do work. You can detach the lower part, if you only use the rear faced seats.

We go around the house after the kids with $40.00 worth of carpet cleaning kit, so, yes, we care!
It depend on what are your standards to begin with?
Now if you carry a dog in your car, humm, that's a different matter. How can you keep it from smelling like a dog?
