Honda Civic.
« on: September 12, 2010, 06:23:02 PM »

I received a letter from Honda the other day saying after the standard warranty is out, they are giving me a warranty
to cover the motor until 2015 no matter what the mileage is.  It said that some owners where complaining of the motor
overheating, thus needing repair.  I had to fill it out stating I was still the owner of the car and send it back to Honda.
I did read about this earlier on some forums about the motor overheating, and I've just been waiting for mine to since
this summer has been brutal anyway.  I was really surprised that Honda did this.  I think Honda takes care of their customers
more than Nissan or Toyota does though.  My Civic has 53,000 miles so far, nothing has been done to it but oil changes.
Just thought Id share.   Cheesy

It's nice of them to extend the coverage.  I always thought that Honda motors were pretty much bullit proof anyway.
