Nah, IS is too popular in the city and I'd spend all my time wondering why I didn't get the IS-F.

And why don't you? Sorry if I missed an answer to this already, doing a lot of catch-up...

I don't know.  They are kind of pricey for an IS and like I said I see them everywhere (IS's that is not IS-F's but it's the same general look).  I did like the car when I test drove it ages ago though.  Also, I have to admit I kind of like having a convertible.  I'm now leaning towards the G convertible.

I saw a G convertible at a parking lot once.  Very impressive in black, specially with the wheat leather interior/African rosewood.

That's not true I was very happy with my M45.  I'm just very particular about my cars is all.  Oh and I've already owned a CLK.  Loved it.  Then they got all hokey on the design.  That Black version is amazing but there's no back seat (if I recall the black correctly) and my wife can't drive it because she'd crash it into a pole I'm pretty sure.

Well, in a sense yeah.  I don't care if she drives it.  This is going to be a bit of a "beater" car after all.  But she has to be ABLE to drive it.  CLK Black? She'd wrap that around a tree (recall she totalled my LS430).  The M6 has 500+ HP and she managed to take that 3/4 mile to the grocery and back. . . IN FIRST GEAR ONLY.  (duh, woman, the "1" means it's in FIRST, you gotta click twice to put it into drive)  At least she drives it fine now I guess.

Cayenne GTS?  Panamara?  I'd give both a drive...  The GTS is no S w/ a body kit from what I have heard.  Probably what I would get if I were in your shoes...

I've got results.  I've even got notes I took from the test.  Overall, Meh.  It's not terrific or groundbreaking or anything.  It's . . . well it's a porsche sedan frankly.  Not a big departure like the Cayenne was (drivewise that is).  Also not tiny feeling like the Coxster is.  It's not beefy feeling either (like a typical V8 sports sedan like say a M5 or something) and has a whiz more than a Vroom.  No way I'd buy one, put it that way.
