So some are getting them colormatched.

I'm not sure if it works, the outer shape I think is really what is the most jarring out of it.

I was thinking the same thing - it somehow looks unfinished at the top.

I'll say this - I'll bet there will be a brisk business in aftermarket grilles for the TL!

Is it aluminum?  Or is just a big slab of plastic?  then that should go.  Soon.  Painting helps, though.

that was my thought when the first pics were released.  I hope someone at least photoshops one soon.  I think the car might look good minus the buck tooth

I'm betting on plastic too! If i recall the M grille was plastic with some kind of chrome-ish paint?

I can just see now Jeremy Clarkson test driving this thing and pulling all this plastic apart..."look at this, is this a Honda?  No, it's an Acura, only sold in America.  (he breaks the thing, looks at the camera and says) Why am I not surprised?  And it looks just like an American car to boot, no wonder it's gonna sell a lot over there".

Too funny, this guy.  Acura, please learn.  Even the Koreans already know about: RWD or die!

I don't care for either grill.  The modified version looks like some kind of star trek insignia

Since Acura seems to have lots of unused MDX grilles laying around, maybe they could graft one onto the TL.

(Okay, not a very good PS, but I didn't want to waste much time on it.)

A billet grille, aftermarket style, would be simpler and probably look better.
