The new Acura dealer in Peoria (Illinois) got the 2009 TLs in sometime in the last ten days, so I stopped by last night. It does look better in person, very macho for an Acura, like it wants to eat small Lexus sedans.
The rear goes for a 'broad shoulders' look that I think is somewhat overdone. Considering that the TL is the 'American Acura' (versus the TSX and TL world luxury sedans), it was inevitable.
They had a TSX with 18" chrome wheels next to the black TL. I don't like chrome wheels.
Nothing new since 2005 to see here, really. I'll shut up once Acura remembers that not all production cars have four doors.
