my thoughts:
hmmm the nose looks pointier in this vid than in pictures... i liked it better when i thought it was more vertical.  What ARE you trying to do there with that new grille, haha.
radar looks cool, but how will it really change my driving habits?  I'm not going to drive around a storm or anything.
you'd think with all these features like the rear view "grid" that people could drive better these days... Roll Eyes
so it records off the disc at playing speed?  - LAME.  Even the jeep has USB upload capability.  These foreign car companies need to get with the program, can't believe they're getting upstaged by chrysler!

How many other cars record from the disk?  I thought that the trunk and the
no locking keys in there was kinda neat.  I don't really like the stock wheels on
the base models.    Cool

I don't think I would stand that close to the grill as he does in the beginning of the vid.  that bird might bite.  Otherwise the features seemed pretty standard for a modern luxury car.

i opted out of that functionality because i thought it was stupid and not worth the price.  The Jeep on the other hand can transfer songs off a flash drive or via USB cable in a matter of seconds, just like a normal ipod/mp3 player

Does the Jeep have more options than your G has?  I haven't looked into the Jeep
thing in a while.   Wink

you mean my particular jeep vs my particular G or generic G35 vs Overland?  Either way the Jeep might win... I'd have to break it down.  My wife's jeep is loaded.  everything but the rear dvd... we had one, but decided it wasnt worth it this time.  Plus you can get a product that bypasses the motion lock and play a dvd up front on the nav screen.

As far as generically, the G has adaptive front headlights and active cruise, not available on the Jeep, the jeep has heated side view mirrors, which my G doesnt and that kinda pisses me off.  I'll pull up the entire options lists if you want me to.

oh my G has pretty much nothing... just Premium pkg sport model.  Thats sunroof, seat heaters, homelink, rear HVAC, some other crap.  Sport of course is LSD, paddle shifters, aluminum pedals, bigger rims and brakes, some aesthetic treatment.  The TL and G are probably very similar in standard options as well as available options.

The Jeep has NAV with mygig, so thats cool stuff, otherwise, nothing too exciting.  I do like the auto windshield washers  and auto high-beams.  Its a Jeep though Joe... whats impressive is what it can do off-road.  If not she'd probably be driving a lexus or something.

its a possibility honestly... still havent seen one in the wild, but i'm open to the idea... that is until i see it in person and its hideous.  I hope its not.  I was a big fan of the previous TL and TSX, and the hondacura NAV is really nice.

I don't know how they will look either, most posts about the TL's looks are
bad.  The interior is the best part of the car.  It would probably be good
buy on your part if you are wanting a larger car next time and stay in the
same price range.   Grin
