Not way off. Just a little bit. It does have a slightly similar side-profile, but it's fairly different, I think. The Jaguar is less aggressive from the side and also doesn't have much of the 'coupe' look that audi is aiming for.

Generally I like it but what I really find amazing is how much Audi styling and refinement has changed in 20 years.  In 1989 I had a Honda CRX.  If I had it in as new condition now and parked it beside a current Civic I would see it as older and different but not that different.  That old Audi compared to current designs looks absolutely prehistoric.

I must be missing something...  Maybe it looks bigger than it is but what market are they trying to nail with this thing?  People that want a huge estate car but need a bigger trunk?  Is the trunk in the A8 not big enough?  Hopefully its smaller than it looks, which would put it against the BMW GT (or what I call the BMW fishbowl).

The old Audi does look prehistoric next to the new one.  I also agree that the crx was way ahead of its time for Honda.  The question now is since not much has changed, have they changed enough...?
