The winner of the contest was no one... its liquid platinum... I know thats hard to discern, but my wife had the camera and got home right at 8pm... not much light left... so we ran down the road looking for a well lit area and this was the best we found.

So sad day.. had to say good bye to my favorite car ever, but high hopes for the new one.  Its roomy... and all the tech stuff is keeping me entertained.  (Still haven't linked the i-key to my drivers seat, cause i'm having issues, lol).  But love the color, and dropped off the G for a rim swap out and someone already called and wanted to know how much I'd sell them for, haha.  So good times...

Immediate impressions... wow the 7spd transmission is smooth and it clears about 4 gears in a HURRY at mild-moderate accelleration!  but whenever you decelerate at all it starts grabbing gears, not a bad thing but it seems a little overkill just to save brakes or put you in the optimal bandwidth (or whatever you call that).  Power... seems subdued compared to the G, but different gearing and heavier car... nothing unexpected.  It still moves when you want it to.  The suspension is so soft... I keep bracing myself (learned habit in the G) when I come across change in pavement type etc and it just glides across like water... so nice.   NAV is impressive haven't REALLY used it, but in playing around it seems awfully useful and user friendly.  The music box is interesting, but thanks i guess.  I love the IPOD interface... it is honestly one of the biggest selling points for me.  Sure there are plenty of cars that offer it, but my car doesn't have it, and that really irked me.  XM satellite radio... someone please explain why if sirius bought them why the channels can't be the same, haha... now i'm trying to learn another 100 radio station #s, because to my knowledge there's no way to "list" the channel descriptions (like 6 to a page) unless you save them to your presets.  Lets see... otherwise comfy.. i was excited to see i DID get adaptive lighting... i thought that was advanced tech, but i think i confused it with lane departure, which i did NOT get.

FYI: Its an 09 sport with tech pkg and a spoiler.  I believe those are the only options.  Lots of incentives right now for previous infiniti owners if anyone has been tempted to trade in/up.

oh and mods... well i plan to tint the windows asap.  its hot.  i kept putting it off in the G and look... it never happened.

Wow!!! THAT ONE IS A LOOKER...

CONGRATS, man, you're going to love the ride.  I suppose it gets RAS, since you got sport package?  It rides better than a 5 series, and handles better, too, but don't believe me, read the reviews.   The NAV is the best in the industry, with traffic now, and voice command, that for me worked good enough in 06 (but no trafic or touch screen then).  You got need a better subwoofer, though, I suspect.

I love this car.

yeah the bass is unpredictable... sometimes it pounds sometimes you can't get enough out of it.  of course that could have just been my ipod sound quality... but i doubt it.  The ride is great... the 535/550 I drove were tighter and turned better but also rode more harsh.  The NAV is awesome, and i don't even know how to use it optimally yet.... touch screen is awesome.

Yeah it has the RAS... can i tell... well not really, but maybe I can tell a difference in time.  I never drove an M35 that wasn't a sport, so maybe that would have made it easier.

well the gauges and digital displays are all gray-white on a dark background and the "illuminated rings" around the gauges are what's purple.  I'll take pics later

The M is awesome so far.
