I've always found that if my car pleases me, it still gets me chicks.  So I don't have to get a car to please them, as long as I'm happy it'll bring them in on its own accord. Cheesy

I guess one factor for me was that I couldn't get chicks with a GUN, much less a mere car.  Grin

What sucks about it all... is that the "snob" label is applied to those who actually pick up a BMW for its performance factor.  Obviously people aren't paying 75k for an M3 or 90k for an M5 just so they can say they drive a BMW.

I say BMW should do what Lambo is doing and completely shun the CAFE standards and just increase the cost of the vehicle to reflect any monetary penalties levied on them as a result of not meeting the standards.

It does suck
I drive FX because i think it's the best performance SUV
I drive 335i because i think it's the best performance car
I hate when people look at me like i'm some sort of "rich bastard" or snob when i'm getting out of my car in supermarket parking lot  Angry
Obviously no one things i bought it because i like the way it drives and looks

There are still many who buy BMWs because they're enthusiasts, but it's not the same as it was even a few years ago

Also, i agree with above, many have no idea about their bimmers and they care less. They wanna make sure badge looks clean
