The first wheel was mounted on my 2005 RL and then dismounted as soon as I saw how absolutely terrible it looked.

I had never seen these wheels in person.  The photo that I saw in the ad completely misrepresented their appearance.

Since they were a special order, the mfg would not take them back.

I put them up for sale on Ebay and in various ads for over two years without a taker.

One day, a man saw them in a tire shop where I was keeping them, offered $600 I grabbed before he could get away (and maybe put on eye glasses).

Although I took a huge loss, getting rid of them was a blessing.

Never again will I order a high priced item without physically inspecting the product.

Ah.. okay, that makes more sense now (that you didnt actually KNOW it looked like that Smiley )

THat's why I could never shop for rims online. It's just impossible without seeing them in person...

So you're saying you dont like my -F?! Sad

No, I like your -F, but I'm not crazy about the "smoked" rims. They're better than absolutely black rims, but to me ...... they look like they're always coated with brake dust.  And I HATE brake dust. Tongue
