I was surprised to hear it.  These guys don't even like having to push the gas pedal. Tongue

I would probably just gun it from a dead stop... that would probably close the hatch without me having to touch it

Thanks for digging that up.  I was feeling lazy. Smiley

Though that would push me more towards an EX35 vs the new FX.  Same engine, 300 lbs lighter.

I think you'd have to trade your [male bits] as well for the EX. Smiley

Its ok, it would be faster. Cheesy

20's, drop, exhaust and some mild body work and I could change everybody's mind about the EX too.  I see a lot of potential in that vehicle that is unfortunately being glossed over because nobody is quite sure what to do with it. Wink

I agree with you, I also believe some quality work can be done there.

This is what I like about the direction Infiniti took.  They went through the trouble of keeping FX relatively the same weight as last gen while adding to the wheelbase. Not to mention the fact that they added much more technology.

I agree, that's the way to go.  I'm glad they aren't any heavier for 2009.

I know there is the complaint about the rear hatch not being a powered hatch floating around the many boards out there but frankly, I don't mind actually doing some exercise to lift the rear hatch.  After all, they made it out of a composite material this time around to make sure it is light.

The problem is the hatch is always dirty.  I know there is a handle inside, but still, even I forget about it from time to time.  I bet the women would rather have a 30lb electric engine in there to do the job than to have the trouble to go and ruin their nails when go shopping.  I'm not saying I agree with it though, just pointing out the facts.  I know Lexus and Accura must get a lot of sales on things like these alone.

Thats because you're a sedan driver.  Claim you want usefulness and four doors for people and stuff, but aren't willing to actually get a functional vehicle with a hatch and real storage space.

Coupes and hatcbacks are the only kinds of cars we need in this world.  Sedans are banal. Cheesy
