350Z is the same way.  Wonder if its the same turn signal component.  Can't really tell if the physically same housing shape or not where they'd be interchangeable.  Definitely similar, but probably not the same.






The main difference is the Z uses the inner portion for the reverse light, the EX uses it for the rear reflex reflector and I'm assuming that maybe for the EU models, it is wired to function as the rear lower fog light they require.

It doesn't seem odd on the Z because the tail lamps aren't as far away.  The tails on the EX are higher, so its not in the same plane of view I think.
