Then we can start a new round of quibbles and quirks. Tongue  You know its going to be tough going from something like the IS-F now that you've adjusted back to something like a FX.

Little confused by this. .. "going from IS ... now that .. adjusted back to something like a FX?" Cheesy

I think the FX's vents are non-functional. Even more reason to load them up with LED's!!

I have been resisting the urge to go drive this.... Sad $68K? I think infiniti outdid themselves a bit, again.

No they're functional, they reduce front end lift, I think.

FX50 is a beast, but its retardedly priced.  $58k to start for the FX50 and upwards of $66k loaded? Huh?  I just don't get that kind of pricing for it.  I do feel it'd sell a LOT better at $6-10k less.

my bad..

"Other nice touches include the satin silver painted roof rails and the chrome front fender vents, which aren’t just for decoration; they actually help reduce front end lift by as much as five percent."

I gotta call BS on that though!

Agreed. I think Infiniti majorly screwed up by making the "S" package available to the 50 only. That doesn't really make sense. I thought Infiniti had learned from their previous mistakes, but I guess not. The first generation FX  (04?) (which I had) suffered from Infiniti building entirely too many LOADED FX45's (Sport, Tech, Rear-DVD, etc).. I think optioned out it was a scale-tipping $58K due to about $8K in options alone. At the beginning of the '05 MY they had loads of FX45's literally sitting on lots. A dealer in California (i think) that I don't remember started "blowing out" their FX45's at a flat $10K off MSRP. They ran out. I found a dealer in Florida and asked them to match the offer - I got mine for a flat $10K off MSRP, with something like 100 miles on it. It was a YEAR old and had been sitting on the lot for that long.. (and they had to replace the tires due to flat-spots) thought infiniti would have learned from that.

i dont think they have to try and competitively price it when you consider the contenders in the segment, X5, cayenne, Q8... they're all pretty pricey when you load them up.

As for the LEDs... do it.  Why not. Wink  Did you ever remove the SRT intake for the other one you mentioned?

SRT intake hasn't come off yet. Has gone to arbitration, though!

Nope. I offered to have it sent back to them at their expense per (bank)'s requirement. They declined the offer, so it went into arbitratoin.
