Ah, yes . . . there's news on TV
« on: August 01, 2008, 06:31:30 AM »

It is 4:15AM and the temperature is already 94F.  The weatherman on TV says it is going to peak at 114F by 3PM today.  I can hardly wait!

On another TV channel, Nancy Pelosi is waxing poetic about how she loves latitude and longitude.  On  Fox, Al Gore warning the reporters gathered around him about carbon footprints.  Kind of an ironic as he is about to board his private jet which will take him across the country for a golf game with supporters.

A local channel displays California where there is a fire raging, a town still with the shakes and an image on the screen of Paris somebody or other who got busted again for DUI.

CNN has Barack telling how he doesn’t look like those depicted on American paper currency.  I wonder what his point is.  Could this be the infamous race card?

It is apparent that the term news in actuality means bad news or boring news or entertainment news.  What ever happened to good news?

Considering what I have seen on the TV this morning, the only good thing I have to look forward to today is the fact then when we go food shopping in three hours from now, we will travel to the market in a beautiful car that has a great air conditioning system.

Thank you Lexus for the SC, I love you.
