Snapped a pic or two of a 2011 M with the optional aero kit at my dealer the other day (sorry for the crummy iPhone pix
).
The kit also includes a modified rear fascia, and as well as a trunklid spoiler, but I didn't get pix of those. The Sport Pkg includes a more aggressive front air dam already, but this thing steps it up another notch.
I think it's a bit much, but then I'm not big on exaggerated bodywork. Is this something you'd consider if you got a new M?

I'm not a big fan of white cars in general, but this one does look good, especially with the bigger Sport wheels.

Yeah they have a similar aero kit for the G but I didn't get it (yes I'm capable of NOT getting an option). I actually don't like the look. Little too much chin sticking out. I would like a little lip but that's just way too much. The chrome too. . . not for me.

I believe this also holds true for the new Camaro. I'm not a big fan of the Camaro, however I saw one today on the way to lunch and loved the look in white.

Not sure if I am feeling the front air dam on the M. Maybe the car needs to be lowered a bit? How much more did this add to the cost of the car?

I agree - I posted a pic of an old-fashioned locomotive with a cowcatcher on it as a comparison, and it didn't win me too many friends!
