The funny thing about CVT's is that under normal driving, you don't notice anything really different. But get on it, like getting onto a fast-moving freeway, and it goes a little weird-sounding.

But I understand the one in the new Maxima is better than the older ones, and you seldom notice anything odd. Even so, I have a built-in bias against them.

I don't know, but I like to feel shifts, but the CVT might be ok in normal
driving, but I can't stand the sound of the when floored, staying at redline
until you let off the gas.  That's when it makes nice cars like the Maxima
and Altima sound like junk, when they should sound smooth like they used to.   Smiley

Haha Brandon.  ^^  I looked on autotrader and found one M45 and three
M35x's.  Also three or four 06 G35 sedans.  I'm going to look at these
next week first.   Grin

the 06 M is great, the last gen Gsedan is nice... but the 07-08 G35 sedan is leaps and bounds better.  Push button start, better interior, paddles on the autos (sports), better styling, VQHR for 306hp, bolstered seats...

If you're going 06 definitely check out the M, but if you're thinking about a G, I'd definitely take a look at a 07+ sedan... I'm sure the price difference isn't that much b/t 06-07.

The G35's I was going to look at were 06's and priced from 22,900 to 25,000
for the highest one.  Miles were from 16000 to 30000.  The highest priced
one is a black AWD G35.  I don't know what I'm going to do yet.  I'm gonna
look at come cars next friday though.  Brandon, I agree with the new G35
being better, but one thing I like better on the older G's are the headlights.   Smiley
