I will say this about the FX50 (that's the new one right?). When I took it for a test drive when it was released, it was really nice inside. I recall the engine being fantastic too. I'm starting to see Andrey's point though when he mentions the FX. So this car is essentially just a 3 series but with more room without reverting to going the full SUV or even the small SUV route. Interesting. It's like creating a whole new category.
FX50 is very nice all around
They made huge jump from FX45 in performance and interior quality
Some new features are nice as well
I gotta point out that X6 is not "essentially just a 3 series but with more room"
It's really based on 5-series in all aspects
It has the same interior space, or just interior/tech - period
I would still call it SUV, even though it's in its own category/class
After all, it has more cargo space than many crossovers and it's roomier than most of them
AWD is also better than in majority of crossovers
