hahaha... yeah you did a better job than I did... but this was my cut and paste creation... similar to yours... mine utilizes same font all the way across but separates CAR and FAQ 2 ways: one, the tire tread, two, CAR not in italics... FAQ in italics. org still lower case.
edit: I think I like it all black like your's though.

In response to overwhelming public demand, I've made a few changes to my tire tread logo.
1. How's about Michelin Pilot Sport if you thought the other tread was too off-roadish?
2. I've integrated the non-italicized ".org" someone asked about. I can undo that.
3. I kinda agree tread in both "CAR" and "ORG" would be too much, so I didn't do that. But I can.
Anywho, here it is:
I'm out of time, but I can change anything in the logo if anyone cares, and if I have a little time.

Your code's bad, 07G35S - you put "omg" instead of "img".
Anyway, I did a cut & paste and looked at it. So do you mean just put a black background in it, or use Ohmster's red tiger stripes in the lettering?

Look closely at those 'tiger stripes'. You have to look at the original, not the copy and paste from 07G35S. They are actually treads from a high performance tire. What I really like about them is that they are subtle and you actually have to look at the entire word to see them as treads.

Omar's deadline has already passed, so I don't know why we're still talking about this.
But I don't much like the black background myself. Maybe it needs to be a transparent gif with NO background! Just let it float.
