Ah, it's not the silly iPhone. It seems to be a Safari issue. They icons appear fine in Firefox.

More can be added. As long as they have no known copyrights (public domain). The only requirement is they be a gif, and of a reasonable size.

Am I the only one who can't see the actual smilies?
All I see of the new ones (except for two) are their descriptions, like "sSig_goodjob". And if I try to view them in a separate window, I get a 404 error.

No, when I hit the "More", I get this:
Your original post looks like this:
I get the 404 when I do a right-click and "View Image".
Also, when someone adds one of the mystery smilies to a message, all I see is the text (sSig_welcome2, etc.)
