The motivations behind this site were to create a portal of information for users that was unburdened by commercial or business interests. We are not at all interested in selling automotive parts or services. We wanted to create an open forum where members could freely discuss anything related to the theme of the site: cars. This is a repository of information, but is not geared to being the only repository. Members can direct others to related forums without fear of bans or censorship.
