On what, the 335? Honestly I'd probably skip the warranty IF (IF IF IF IF) the car seems to have been a good one.  You know how it is, sometimes you get a car that never seems to break and sometimes you get. . . well you get my M6.  (Mysteriously, the preset XM problem seems to have fixed itself, I'm telling you this car is hysterical.  It's like dealing with a crazy girlfriend)  I imagine you are only about 2 years from a sale anyways right?
Oh and yeah I test drove the X6M.  LOL that's a funny car.  Think Cayenne on steroids.  Sometimes I feel like BMW makes cars for no particular segment whatsoever.  I can imagine the board room. "Hans, our focus groups show that we need a new subcompact car to compete with the Ford version of the Mondeo".  "OK Franz, I agree let's make a hatchback 5 series and a 500 HP SUV sports car thing".

Agree on the X6 as a whole. I have only seen about two on the road, and no //M's yet...

I drool everytime i see X6M (I sat in one at the dealer)
It's just something i would call perfect for me
Great power/handling, enough utility for my family and it's AWD, which is great for upstate NY winters
On top of that it looks stunning
Car that does it all

Warranty:
I have 2yrs/20K left on my 335i
It's been solid, but you never know what happens to it after warranty is up
My 2001 330Ci was trouble-free for 5 yrs of ownership
And i mean nothing broke on that car, well, except for $1-bulb i replaced couple of times in 2 minutes

My 2010 Mini is on order. Its being rushed into production so it should be here the last week of November/first week of December (normal order/production time is 6 weeks + transport). They are going to work on getting me the same payment, kinda hard cause its a 2010 and not a '09. It has the options I want and best of all...NO SUNROOF!

I will not own this car out of warranty LOL or any BMW out of warranty. Too much headache.

Out of my two Infinitis, never had a problem. Few things here and there but never missed my car more than 1-2 days. Oh well hopefully the new one will be problem free.

Best of luck!  Yeah, I'm a tad let's just say underwhelmed with BMW. The X5 my wife used to drive seemed ok.  I don't know, maybe it's just bad luck. Andrey, 2 years?  Some of those warranties are NON transferrable so you definately might consider going without then selling the car at the end.  Works great for BMW because then they slap a CPO on it and bingo you get a new warranty that they get to sell the next guy.

BMW warranty goes with the car, not the person
Whoever buys my car will have what i have
If i buy extended one for 3K (some dealers sell it for 2K, just need to find good deal) it will be good untill car reaches 6yrs/100K miles, whichever comes first
I might actually get it, so i can sleep at night

Also the earlier you get it the less $$ you spend on it, especially if your car is trouble-free

Congrats Chick!  Hope this one works out better for you...

I'm sorry for being the sourpus on the X6 but that thing just doesn't know what it is.  Its a lifted car version of the x5, ie it takes all the limitations of each vehicle and crams it into one!  Wohoo!  It also might be me but every X6 I see in the city is driven by someone who thinks they are driving the coolest car ever created.  Like they think everyone is looking at them.  It might just be b/c I noticed this when it first came out but... it just seems super trendy to me for some reason.  I personally would much rather have this, but that's just me...  It solves your need for a manual andrey... Wink

Thanks for suggestion Turbo
I hate Cayenee, to me it's plain ugly
Not to mention X6 will blow its doors off in handling and acceleration

X6 is not SUV like X5
Yes, it's hard to put it into any category, i dont think there is one for it
That's why it's called SAC (sport activity coupe)
It handles like sport car (way better than X5 or any other SUV for that matter) while giving you a lot of room and cargo space
It will ride 4 people with more comfort that Infiniti FX while still carrying more luggage than FX could take
And it will run circles around most cars on the road

I'm a big fan of its looks too

Well hopefully she will be here before Thanksgiving. For us lucky east coasters...we get them 2-3 weeks before west coasters do. I think she will sit in port until this Monday. I keep checking to see when she gets scheduled for transport. Nothing yet.

Did you get the same color as the lemon that you had?

Good luck on the wait. Not sure how you will be able to stand it.
