How We Got Here

I thought I'd share how this place got started and the amazingly short period of time in which it transpired. I don't want to air any laundry here, so this story starts with the beginning of CARfaq and not the end of anything else.

04/26/08 AM Oztiks suggests we launch a site.
04/29/08 AM The idea starts appealing to me and we start an email dialog.
04/30/08 AM Oztiks gives me a laundry list of issues and concerns that we would have to overcome to have a chance.
04/30/08 PM After literally dozens of emails, we start formulating a plan and a theme.
05/01/08 AM Company is formed and domain names are registered.
05/03/08 PM Basic forum outline is created.
05/04/08 AM CARfaq.org chosen as domain name.
05/04/08 PM We actually talk for the first time!
05/04/08 PM Logo and software chosen and we are live! First member joins and our recruiting efforts are in full swing!
