This was a Black EX with a rack on it.  Interesting, it probably needs bigger boot anyway.  Told the saleswoman that the last Feb Performance Car mag (UK) ran a rave review of the EX37, saying it's better looking than the G, and it's better than most wagons, specially those in the same price range.  They were saying this is the best Infiniti for sale in Europe, it's great short performance wagon.  They loved the transmission and the engine, but specially the way it handles.  The girl liked to hear that, but confirmed to me they're not selling much.  Lack of room in the back seat is the main complain.  She said that, for 09, the new EX will have more leg room for the rear passengers, some car seats actually stand in the way of the front seats in most positions, so this is a big no no with small families.

The ugliest G35 ever.  22"s in a G35 (and those 22"s are pretty ugly too) does not look right.  But for those concerned about wheel gap, it's actually pretty tight.  Taller than a regular G35 though (it's taller than the C-Class in the background), it must handle like a pig too.

Why?    



I suppose his brakes run pretty hot...it's like there's an orange cardboard inside the wheels...this looks so stupid!

Not for me, but I think it's interesting.  It show something about Nissan's future design directions. 

IMHO, it's much better looking than say, an Accord.  It's very well finished, panel gaps are great, looks more expensive that it really is (not that it is cheap though).

I like the Maxima a lot.  The biggest problem is its as expensive as the G and nowhere near as fun to drive.  With the Altima progressively growing and RWD cars becoming more prominent at the $30k+ price point, the market for the Maxima is shrinking, especially when its marketed as the 4DSC, 4 door sports car.

I'd never buy a FWD V6 Maxima with CVT when for similar money I could get a RWD V8 Pontiac G8 GT with the 6 speed auto.

nice pics... I thought the max was uggs in pics... but have seen some on the road and thought not bad...
