Was the whole event outdoors? The one here is supposed to be inside, from what I understand? Maybe I'm wrong.. But I don't think so?

I'm considering trying to talk my playboy friend to going to HIN in orlando with me..... Don't think she'll go for it htough.

Nah... I didn't really pimp out Carfaq... but I thought about it when I saw the VIP M... sift through the ton of pics... you'll see it  

As for my HIN review, it was okay.  20 dollars for me to enter my car to show, not to be judged.  However, we got there so early that after parking the car and walking around and seeing EVERYTHING, we decided to take my car and go find some food (there was none at the event location).  So my friend Paul and I (see first three pics, thats Paul's 240) left and found Pizza Hut (hence the Pizza hut picture!).  We really took our time and enjoyed the A/C to and from. 

While we were eating, we talked about the rules (you can't leave once you're in) and I decided I wasn't going to park inside when we went back cause I wasn't planning to leave at midnight!  (Paul just texted me and said they let him out at 11:30pm).  Plus the fact my car isn't anything too exciting, however you can judge for yourself against the pics I have provided. 

Neat stuff though, and a lot of really nice people.  I had fun, just wish it was indoors (most of them are like Oz said).  The heat was a killer, 93 degrees I believe, and muggy - humid.  The drifting was fun/cool.  Never seen that in person, and there were some bike stunts as well. 

I learned a lot though, like selling food at an event like this is a great idea!  Carry a camping chair and one of those canopies.  And never arrive at the early end of an entry window.

to be honest... there were a lot of crappy cars out there that made me feel pretty good about what I've got.  I mean I could take the 40k or so I invested in the G and turn a Civic into a real head turner... but then I'd still be driving a civic.

hahaha.... GM was a major sponsor of this event so they brought stuff, Valvoline was a big sponsor and brought a dyno and their sponsored Roush mustang.  As for the other stuff, just people who came and paid to show their car, they weren't turning down people for this event.  It was far from being space limited.
