I've been saying it for 6 months now.  I think someone needs to check the design department at Honda.  What the heck is going on over there?  Acuras are now universally transformers with some (TL) way off the chart ugly and even Honda has got some major ugly going on (4door Accord / Pilot).  Is this some sort of Manga cultural thing?  Are they just big Autobot fans or something?  I'm not being a wiseass I'm seriously asking, what is going on over there!?!

The only thing I can think of is that Cadillac has enjoyed a degree of success with their sharply-creased Arts and Sciences (?) design theme (CTS, STS. etc.), and Acura maybe figures they'll set a new style themselves by playing off the Caddy success. Huh?

That is true, and a lot of people have said Acura is copying the Bangle design by placing sharp creases along door lines.  Personally I think the overall design of Acurs isn't that bad, well from a body line perspective.  But the faces and grilles they put on these things are nasty!
