I think they do.  It's just that nobody has hacked the CAN bus yet.  All I can do is interface the carputer with the OBDII jack, but that's like using a computer serial port, and not the RJ11 connector.

With BMW, Audi and Mercedes, you can tell the car to open the trunk, turn on left headlight only, close the door, open/close sunroof, you can control the air conditioner, read and adjust desired temp, you can even remotely turn off your car, plot it's location by gps and use your carputer as a car alarm! (too bad it's easy to disconnect though, so it's not really used that way unless it's well hidden).

To do that with Infiniti/Nissa, I believe you'd need something like this:

Monitored data is written in comma delimited text format and can be imported directly into Excel, Word or other processing programs.  Below is a sample of a few 1-Wire transfers showing the timestamps (in seconds) of each of the transfers followed by the packet data in Hex.

So suppose you press a button to open the right front window: the bus controller changes like this:

So if a computer can reproduce that data, it can change the windows status without anybody actually there pressing the button.

I may want to tackle this someday, but I have no background in electronics, which makes it look like very tedious looking enterprise.  I suppose hackers would love to do that, if enough of them bought Infinitis.  Apparently, until now they want to be seen driving old BMW's, Mercedes and Audis...
