The speed warning you can actually set yourself.  I have ours set to 80mph, reason being...  In most cars 80mph is straight vertical, in the Audi straight vertical is around 95mph.  Stupid engineering

Hey, I can beat that!

Maybe that can be my new excuse to the police when I get pulled over. "I thought the needle was supposed to be pointing straight up!"

I like the audi's more realistic tach though.. i'm pretty sure things are going to be flying through the hood of my car if i somehow managed to hit 9,000RPM.. almost 2K over the redline. Tongue

I actually heard that the engine can do higher than 7k rpm... But lexus decided to set it there for engine reliability.

Wouldn't go too well since the rest of the interior lights are red.  The white needles on red look great at night too.

I don't get it... hahaha

If you have a manual, it wouldn't show it anyway...  So if you had an auto it would?  Or are you trying to say, we have silly autos and you have the bonafied manual?

hahahha

I'll take a night pic if I get around to it.  The rest is pretty nice.  I miss my LED interior lighting though.  These halogen bulbs suck.

Maybe it was v4.0?  Whatever version you're using, its the replacement to that.

Took the car to the dealer the other day for the 15k tune-up and oil change... Can you imagine, 15k which is a minor service set me back $348.79?!?!

Anyways they replaced my bluetooth module, uploaded the 2007-2008 maps data onto the hardrive and a software update to the MMI...  According to the service tech, I have the newest "stable" version of the software as well as the most current maps.  This one is slightly nicer as there are more options in the menus, and popup info displays to show title of the song etc...  I'll post some more in depth pictures later on.

That's nice that they update the navigation map data.  Much better than dropping $150 for a new DVD!
