The graphite is really beauitful and classy...the blue is super sporty...have you owned any blue cars or flashy colors? I personally like the graphite because I've seen it in person.

never had anything as flashy as the blue no... my current car is blue slate which is kinda like sparkling graphite... it tends to be gray-purple... my car is gray-blue... i'd definitely lean towards the graphite as well.  Never seen either in person though.... the bimmer dealer here keeps getting red and silverstone

I like the blue I saw a E90 sedan in person, granted I drive a blue IS-F. The driver game me the thumbs up and likewise.

Do they still have the Imola red?  that would be my favorite.  The Interlagos blue looks too much "Los Angeles" to me...

When you see this darkish grey it may be sparkling graphite as well as space gray
Very first picture looks like space gray

It's very boring color
When it's past 10min after carwash, it looks dull

Go with the blue
I've owned 330Ci in blue, my friend has 335i sedan in blue
It looks very nice, not overly flashy, lines showing beautifully

no imola red, but the red they do have is pretty nice.  If I could pick up a used sparkling graphite, thats an idea, otherwise white is actually a good color for the car, bc like Andrey said, it shows the lines of the car well.

Bah...I can understand a grandma buying a white toyota highlander or a white buick, but a white M3?? Come on! Pick an actual color if you’re gonna get something that nice.  White is a girly color for a small car like a 3 series to boot.    Angry
/rant mode off   Cheesy

Seriously though, any sport car good in white can be better in red, yellow or brick, or, my favorite, British Racing Green.

I think white cars look good in sunny places, like CA or FL.  Overcast light makes the white car looks dull and lifeless: try to find pictures of white cars without sunlight and tell me if it looks as good as, say red in snow/cloudy sky.  In Seattle for instance, the sky is grey 90% of the time, the car simply blends with the overall mood.   How is it in Raleigh?
