Well, technically it is down the street and then across....yeah, I saw her approaching and was hoping she kept on her current course. So I've got a bunch of shots with her steadily getting closer to the car. She must have thought it strange....

Now you'll really be in the dog house if we get any driveway shots haha Wink  Looking good my friend!  Polarzied and all!  What polarizer are you using?  How much color processing are you doing?  They seem a bit cool IMHO which is quite common with polarizers if your not doing anything with the color.  Not saying there is anything wrong with them, I too generally like cooler images...

It is apparently time for a sensor clean!

What filter(s) are you applying to the sky?  also what if any sort of selection tool are you using for those changes?  There is a slight halo effect going on with almost all of them?  Are you using the high pass?  If so and you want to keep that amount of high pass, what I do when that happens is use a mask and with a soft brush take out the halos leaving the rest of the image with your desired look.

Compositionally I like #1 the best esp with the driveway/windy road leading up to where the car is and the mountains in the background.  Overall I think #4 is my fav, the car is looking great!  I can't wait for more warm weather and to see more shots from everyone!

^ Using a Hoya Polarizer stacked onto a B&W UV. Not too much processing, like I said in the OP, quick and dirty. My problem is that I have Aperture Proofing Profile set up for my printer (Epson R2880), so all the adjustments I make are optimized for that printer. I'm too lazy too change previews for web viewing which makes a significant difference in the appearance of the posted pix.

Agree on the sensor clean. I usually do one once a week (through the built in function in the 40D)....
