Friend's car, for sale.. I personally think it's amazing, and the pictures don't even remotely do it justice.

Looks like it's a great deal!  So it's 16K stock + 36K mods and he's asking 28K?

I think I'm going to buy only modded cars from now on.  Thanks for the link, great car, great site too.  Never heard of it.  I'm going to spend some time browsing it on it tonight... Grin

Rip.. yup, you got it (re price). I had never seen that site before either until then. Its pretty cool.

The car is amazingly done.. i am considering picking it up myself. He has a gorgeous sc300 turbo (600++ whp) and the gs430 was his DD but he picked up a gtr to replace it! (You can see it in one of the pix)

I wonder if he'll be willing to do a part out.  I got a bunch of buddies who would be interested in some of his parts.

Maybe it's because I'm aging, but I'm getting good vibes from this all VIP thing.  As long as you don't go ultra vip and fit curtains all around the windows...LOL

The only thing I still can't get myself over it is the strip thin tire sidewalls.  I still like fatter sidewalls, it's looks more like a racer to me.  Rubber=grip+suspension (since the suspension is as hard as it can get, the tires actually work as suspension).   This is the look I like, all of it: colors (all white maybe better), wheels, adjustable spoiler with screws and rivets showing (a tad big this one, but), carbon, skirts (minus decals):

http://www.pistonheads.com/pics/news/19701/tn_rearPH-L.jpg

Ultra low, lower impossible, but with strong, tuff looking tire sidewalls, not like a belt strip around the rim.  Oh yeah, slick tires rule, I wonder how slick you can go while street legal?

Back to the GS, the custom color sets it apart from most others I've seen. Amazing job.

Oh.   eek

Not much then...

Here's my Michelin Pilot Sport DOT legal tires on my late bike:

http://cdn-3-service.phanfare.com/images/external/5413559_2417929_100579248_Web_2/0_0_4487f5475dd7b714ae9deda712c35ecd_1

Guess it's much different when it comes to bikes.  I wonder why, because bikes have much less traction, and the above tires were crazy slippery when wet.

I had Yamaha R6 with Dunlops
Great tires, but same thing when it's wet
I dont think there are any decent tires for sport bikes that are good in wet
At least, to me it feels like 80% loss of traction, compared to dry

If you're asking me, yes it is...  And I drive it daily, I thought you knew I had the Umbria grey M35?

And I don't fear parking it that often, I'm usually very careful.  Potholes on the other hand...  They give me nightmares!!!

Just making sure.  Have you ever posted pics of your car at riding height level, or do you drive it dropped like that?  Not sure how you could do it otherwise, unless you have a collection of lips you just bolt on to the wheels when needed...  Smiley

One of the reasons I don't want to go over 20-22" on the Sequoia is because i like to climb on things with it, like curbs and you know those parking lot things that impede you to drive away going forward?  22" and up I'd be driving the Sequoia like a car... Embarrassed
