Thanks, lawman. But, no, I'm not a modder. As far as power, the stock 380hp gets it done for me, and as for looks, I like it just like it is.

Lots of the guys on Club Lexus have gone with bigger wheels and drops, etc., and I can't get away from the idea they look like L.A. gang cars.  Shocked   It's just a matter of taste.

My idea of mods is my hardwired Escort 8500 X-50 (wouldn't leave home without it) and the navigation override to allow programming while in motion (like God intended).  Grin

Sounds good....hehehehe,

I like Romil's LS460L, but think the wheels are a bit too much (style and size)  I like to stay as clean and OEM looking as possible....

but heck the LS is already a nice beast!

I was as surprised as anyone when he suddenly got rid of his LS. He told me on the QT that it just wasn't as sporty as he would have liked (huh?), but I kinda wonder if he had some other issues going on.  I didn't push it, though, since he wasn't being real public about it.

Still, it looked nice - in a kind of bandito way.  Grin

This car really is growing on me...the lines are great, muscular, the car appear low and mean...specially from the back.  I like it a lot, I could see myself driving one.

I wouldn't mind slightly bigger wheels, maybe 20" 3 piece OZ wheels, I don't know.

I've heard some complains about the mp3 cd not displaying very good/useful info is that true?  This car really deserves a big HD, like those in a computer...that's the mod I would go after, a car-pc on this one would be great.

Congrats on your car, Mike_TX.

Congrats on your car, Mike_TX.

Thanks, RH. I can't really tell you a lot about the MP3 display ... I have some CD's with MP3's that I converted and burned myself in there, and I didn't take the time to do all the necessary tagging. And I haven't bothered to try my iPod yet, either, as I have the same stuff on it.

With sat radio and all my own stuff on CD and DVD, that's not a huge issue for me.

Oh, and 07G35S - Rom's LS had the air suspension, and he added a controller kit and put the 20's on it, so he had a lot of control over the ride and drop.

But I'll add one thing ... people who havn't driven an '08 may be underestimating it from a driving/handling standpoint. Sure, it's a big heavy car, but it's surprisingly agile and quick. More so than my earlier LS's for sure.

you would be surprised at the aftermarket support for the LS460.  A full Tom's suspension upgrade and I would bet the LS would match many a sports car... of course he had the L version and that extra length may have been too much..

yeah funny thing is.... I don't get much attention from the sales people at the Lexus dealership... could it be that I have the boyish good looks of a 20 year old with no money?  I don't know... but yeah I've never driven an LS... thats for sure
