My new SC430
« on: May 31, 2008, 03:24:55 PM »

Greetings to all.

I am pleased to join you and participate in discussions about the fine Lexus brand of luxury automobile.

The 2007 Lexus ES350 that I purchased in June 2007 was disposed of this May 22 in favor of a 2008 Lexus SC.

I am thrilled with the SC.  It is beautifully styled, luxuriously apppointed and oh, so very comfortable with the run flat tires replaced by Michelin Pilot Sport Tires.

Powered by a quiet purring engine, with the top up or down, I feel enveloped in the lap of luxury.

Attached is my beauty.

Thanks for asking, I thought there was something wrong with me (in addition to my other afflictions, that is)!

I knew that there was something magical about this site.  the "cleanup" proves it.

Thanks for correcting the error.

My wife and I have the same first name initial "M"

The "S" is the initial of our last name.

Thus, M+MS capsulizes our name. into a front plate.

It sure helps to find our car when it is in the midst of SO MANY other StarFire Pearl SC's in the parking lots around here. Ha, ha.

I feel you... I bought my ride about 3 weeks after release in the U.S.... thought hey this blue slate is kinda cool, but blue isn't as mainstream as black or white, silver or tan, so it'll be unique.  WRONG... Everybody has either lakeshore or Blue Slate it seems.  Next time I buy... might look at the Ivory Pearl or Platinum Graphite... or I might be bold and go Obsidian... I do wash the car a lot!

07G35S, if there is a next time, check out the Golden Almond.  It is a stunning color in person.  It is not gold but a deeper color and is really unusual.

I saw one before I ordred mine and decided that I would opt for that color.  However, to obtain one was going to take months and I was so smitten with the SC that I could not contain myself and ordered the StarFire Pearl.  I am happy with this color and know that it will be the best one to reflect our tremendous Arizona summer heat.

I think I've seen that color... and I'm not usually a big fan of brown shades... but it is very attractive especially on the SC.
