The new air lift suspension is nice.  Can't say I'm not intrigued, but we just paid off the one we have, so we'll probably wait a while till they are giving them away again to purchase the next one.  I'm hoping some larger mainstream SUVs follow suit also (tahoe, for example).  I know land rover has something siimilar and lexus has suspension settings as well but I don't believe it has off-road intentions.   
I think in the meantime we are going to put a mild lift on the overland we have :-)

I definitely like the Jeep better but it would depend on what I was replacing.  I'd replace the Jeep with the Jeep.  I'd be more likely to replace MY car with the Explorer.


  Its definitely not.  This is like saying would you rather have the G35 or the 3.5L altima.  Its just not the same... its similar, but its just not the same.


Well 1. its a Jeep!  Why not?  needs bigger tires, lol.  You're talking to an old off-roader.
2. it would be helpful at the beach.  Ground clearance is good but not great.  I'm only talking about 2-3" but with some larger tires it will be enough to be substantial.
