its great that its automatic... but i dont have to put my car in reverse and drive 5 times to get in a spot....

Well, the Lincoln MKT is pretty ugly so I guess this will allow you to hide your face in shame while parking.
I really don't like some of the new "features" that cars can come with. I mean really, Lane departure warning system? Wake up and drive between the lines. Car parking systems? Learn to drive - take some lessons. Bring on the electric cars that drive for you from Judge Dredd.

Some day cars will all have this feature. I can see people getting into a venue (stadium/concert), leaving the car right by the main entrance, and then the car follows the next in line to the huge parking lot, one after the other they find a spot and start parking by themselves - perhaps even honking to each other ("honk! didn't your camera see my radar beaming, I saw that spot first!" or "honk! that was mine, I can only park parallel!")...LOL.

Agree. Carmakers are getting pretty desperate for new gadgets but stupid as well. Tell me any of you didn't perma turn off that incredibly annoying lane departure beep beep beep on our Infiniti M's? If that thing wasn't able to be turned off it would have been a deal killer for me and I loved that car. And c'mon you can't parallel park? Isn't that a requirement to get a license? The only ones I know that truly suck at it are my mother and grandmother and the day they learn to operate that thing is the day I drive a yugo.
