Porsche Panamera image and details leak out
Quote
According to AutoTelegraaf, the image above is the first official picture of the Porsche Panamera, showing the new four-door "coupe" in all its oddly proportioned glory. The Dutch pub released the image and details on the sedan after Auto Motor und Sport supposedly broke the Monday embargo. More details will be released late Sunday night, but in the meantime, let's look at the reported specs.

wow... it looks photoshopped, but sadly its not. The new boxter and cayman were also unveiled this week at the LA show, and they were pretty spectacular... this just looks weird

Actually I like it! I thought it was going to be worse than it actually did. The worst part for me is the front, it's not much Porsche like, I fear. It could have more pronounced sides. But I like the rear (it's just Porsche, if you don't like it, you don't like any Porsche) and the sides, well, they're controversial, but I like it...long and low.
The front end should have come with LEDs already, like the Escalade Platinum. I don't know why I expected that though...

Nice find, but looks way too much like what they did with the Cayenne. They try to keep the porsche signature front, which doesnt go well on bigger cars (IMHO), same for the rear. It looks like a really poorly stretched out boxster. I can definitely say i'd rather have a CLS 63.

I think the CLS is dated already, specially the rear, IMHO.

I kind of agree. It could use a slight refresh (it has already had some but they have been mostly towards the front, and VERY subtle). I still love the car, though.

I think it looks funky but I've learned my lesson from trashing the Cayenne till I saw one in person.

Hahha. Also, in your last image; I think the center area could use a few more buttons, no?

I think the cayenne (pre-current refresh) looked decent. Just not "great".

My six your old would love it. Recent conversation while were in the GTR:
Son: "Dad, I love this car. You know why?"
Me: "Why?"
Son: "Duh, it goes 200 miles per hour"
Next day
Son: "Dad, I love this car. You know why?"
Me: "Sure, it goes 200 miles per hour."
Son: "Duh, and it has all these buttons."
