Shhh Clandestine Op

OK, in the morning I go to the track for a clandestine test drive of 12 laps at Infinion Raceway. The target? 6 laps in the new McClaren then 6 laps in the new Lamborghini Aventador. I'll report back. Sorry, STRICTLY no pictures allowed and no visitors. They even requested I not bring my phone. It's a special event to get responses from drivers and my guy at McClaren put me on the driver list (only one in SF). He really wants me in the new McClaren but I'm completely unconvinced.

Lots to report guys and gals. I'll talk about the cars later. (Although the highlight is when I flicked the Aventador and drifted it around a turn right in front of the Lamborghini rep, HAHAHAHA you should have seen the look on his face, F'in priceless. Mouth was a big "O")
The big surprise for me was the Ferrari of North America guy approaches me and hands me the special invitation to Maranello to a very exclusive skunk works Ferrari unveiling event. Ferrari pays for everything. Then I can take a tour of the factory and run a Ferrari FF on the roof. I actually said I had to ask the wife but I was a bit floored. I might take a buddy if she can't go due to little ones in school.
Now HERE I can take pictures!!!

Yep, looks like she is going to flake. Honestly, it makes me a tad upset. Look cars are my thing. It may not be her thing but she moves heaven and earth so she and I can go to Maine for four days for her friends wedding but when Ferrari wants to fly me and her first class to Maranello/Modena and put us in a four star hotel for two days, and invite us to a special event, and let us private tour the factory and let us private tour the racing factory and let us drive on the private track and give us a F430 while we are there, it's suddenly "just to see cars?"
Such a shame.

Oh I am so jealous but at least the rest of us get to experience these things vicariously through you Trin.
I think Tahoe is a must just because of their videos of this thing in the snow. If you had it here I'd suggest a run to Whistler.
