So true
When i said X6, yes, i meant M version of it
Otherwise it would be a bit boring for me
My sweet spot for performance is when car could trap mid 12s at 115 or so
Of course i can simply make my 335i to do it with $300 worth of mods and 20min instalation, but once we have second kid, i will need a bit larger car
So X6M and GT 550i came into mind
Though 7 series now looks much better in my eyes as well
I'm actually glad that BMWs widely using this V8 TT in their lineup
Great engine IMO

I like this GT A LOT (much better than a boring wagon), but in white, kid friendly it's not.  "Can I bring my markers, dad?  They're a (mostly) washable, don't worry!"   And what's up with that shift gear?  It does not belong there, looks like a toy.

Also, is this a panoramic sunroof, just like those on the Minis?  Hummm....

I love light interiors
I guess i could clean it once in a while
My 330ci after 5yrs looked brand new with light grey leather
Shifter is just the same that they use across all bimmers, including M5, M6, X6, etc
It looks and feels much better than on the pictures
My biggest issue with this shifter though - it doesnt come with 3rd pedal
 Cry

I really need manual transmition in the car to be completely happy with it
Even automatic manual (DCT,DSG, etc) doesnt do it for me
Sigh...

Trin
Just looked up some pictures online of R8 V10
It definetely has more character and there is something meaner about yours compared to V8
Those extra 100 horsies are great change as well over V8
Just great car
Saw one today (V8), sounded nice
I really wonder what V10 is like
Audis make really nice sounding cars when equipped with 8-cyl or more
And now they catching up in performance department as well
R8 now actually fast car, S4 just beat 335i and i'm sure RS5 will do some damage to M3
Not to mention RS6 with monster engine
Audi definetely made some progress

Can't say im feeling the love for the GT... but I do agree on the audi statements. I was very close to picking up an S5 instead of the -F, but opted not to for a few reasons. I'd of course love an RS* even more, but the prices will be WAY out of my budget.

New S4 go really good reviews
I really like this car
Good performances, decent amount of room since it got bigger a bit
Very good tuning potential
There is already tune for it to bring it to 400HP
It's gonna get very popular in no time, probably the same way 335i did when it came out

Andrey-when I had the 335 sedan loaner, I hated the design of the LATCH system. The design alone would have made me NOT buy the 335. The X6 LATCH backseat looks about the same as the 335. Mini is completely different. It has two little covers covering the LATCH(es) and so simple to put my daughter's Recaro in. Don't know why BMW had to make it so complicated LOL Embarrassed

The reason for this tuner boom was actually started by Audi...  With the B5-S4, a middle of the range car with huge mod potential.  That started a snow ball which left the Audi camp when they switched back to N/A and then BMW jumped into the FI in a middle of the range car with the 335.  I'm glad to see Audi back with FI, their 2.0T is a monster of an engine.  300lb/ft with over 30mpg with a chip and exhaust?  It sounds like the new S/C'd 6 isn't bad either.  I can't wait to drive one...

I cant comment on latch system of any other cars besided mine, since i never cared to look
It takes about 30sec or less to install base of my son's Maxi Cosi Mico child seat to my coupe
I find it pretty convinient and stealth looking system
Sedan, i believe might be just slightly different, but still should be ok
I also had 335 (but d, diesel) as loner, and just moved carseat base from one car to another in seconds

New SC-ed V6 is great!
New S4 running 4.6sec 0-60, 1/4mile low 13s @ 107mph stock and it also returns 30mpg
Big improvement over previous audis in handling as well

Wow, yeah I found the 335 sedan to be a major PITA to transfer, so did my husband. It was probably easier since you were latching in just the base of a rear-facing seat (I assume). My daughter's Recaro is front facing and makes another obstacle to deal with when latching it. I couldn't get over the top teether being hard plastic instead of metal?!?

Hey Congrats on the new wheels Trin! Are you having your clubhouse gutted/redone?
I was back in the city a few weekends ago and happened to roll down Union/Buch.
We had a fire at our apartment in July, so we took the opportunity to move to Marin.

Ha, no that's the restaurant NEXT to my clubhouse.  They've been working at that place for ages but it's the Bermuda triangle of restaurant spots.  I think I've seen 4 over the last 15 years, none of them made it.
