What sounds better than the 458?
« on: October 08, 2010, 04:31:27 PM »

So I was driving to Ferrari to drop off the 458 (sniff sniff, bye) and was enjoying the sound of the engine as usual when I heard something better.  OK, the best sounding engine in the world?  American.  And man does it fly. . . . literally.  The Blue Angels are here for Fleet Week and the scream of a FA-18 beats anything . . . period.  Actually shook the bridge and my car when they went UNDER the Golden Gate then went straight verticle and split off into a clover.  I almost crapped my pants.

I've seen them flying around Seattle before their big summer festival and the sound and feel of them flying low overhead is awe inspiring.  When they go by it's like the city stops.

The gooners were getting ready to attempt the wire again. Then the truly lovely sound of twin M61 Vulcans mounted on an AC-47 Spooky gunship relieved all further stress and anxiety better than a truly dry fart.

Now there were two sounds better than the 458; the Vulcan and the truly dry fart..!
